Located on the south edge of Fillmore Illinois, Nearly There Farm is almost 27 acres. Mostly pasture, the farm also has a 3 acre pond with bass, bluegill and catfish. Owned and operated by Rich & Deb Carr, we believe it's time people stopped being afraid of their food. We raise Dexter Cattle, Miniature Donkeys, occasional pigs, Black Spanish & Bourbon Red turkeys, Americauna & Welsummer chickens, Khaki Campbell, Cayuga & Pekin ducks, Guineas, assorted rabbits and bunnies. Next year we would like to expand to include goats and bees. We also raise a lot of plants from berries and rhubarb, herbs and flowers, fruit and nut trees to all manner of produce. Deb's Growin' Things is also located at Nearly There Farm. With everthing from Jams, Salsas and Pickles to Trailhand Cookies and Deb's Famous Chocolate Cake, we pretty much cover all the bases.
